This archive comprises the personal papers of the Rev. Dr. Leonel Lake Mitchell, primarily from his time spent teaching liturgics at The University of Notre Dame and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. It includes: liturgical materials, particularly on baptism and ministry; authored works on the subject of liturgics; correspondence and course materials; and memorabilia.

The papers of Frederic W. Fitts include sermons, commentaries, observations, and writings relating to the liturgy, worship protocols, and sacramental elements of Christian life.

The records of the Standing Liturgical Commission (SLC) comprise papers pertaining to the revision of the Book of Common Prayer for the General Convention of 1970, following the Plan for Prayer Book Revision outlined by the Standing Liturgical Commission of the General Convention of 1967. These papers were compiled by Elmer Beamer, a lay person who served on the Panel of Readers and Correspondents, which was a subcommittee of the SLC. Included are files pertaining to the creation of common vernacular materials and the drafting committees, as well as a small amount of correspondence.
