    • Abstract: The Associated Parishes was founded in 1946 as, "A fellowship of clergy and laity interested in advancing the principles of the Liturgical Movement in the life of the Episcopal Church." This program was accomplished through publications, networking, and liturgical conferences, representing Anglicans in North America as well as an ecumenical reach. In 1981 the official title of the organization was changed from The Associated Parishes, Inc. to Associated Parishes for Liturgy and Mission.
