- Abstract: Samuel F. Hotchkin was a prominent nineteenth century clergyman from Bustleton, Philadelphia. He was ordained to the diaconate in 1860 and to the priesthood in 1861. He was a prolific writer of books and articles, primarily regarding early clergy and bishops of Pennsylvania and Delaware and theological matters.
